Prep TimePrep Time 10 minutes minutes
- 3 ripe mangoes, peeled, pitted, and chopped
- 3 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp Chamoy
- 2 tbsp Tajin
- extra mango chunks
In a blender, combine the chopped mangoes, water (or orange juice), lime juice, and sugar or honey if needed. Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
Taste the puree and adjust the sweetness or tanginess to your liking by adding more sugar or lime juice.
Drizzle chamoy sauce around the inside of your serving glasses. To create a swirling effect, tilt the glass as you pour the chamoy.
Sprinkle some Tajín inside the glass to add an extra layer of flavor.
Start by adding a layer of mango puree to each glass. Then, add a layer of ice cubes or crushed ice.
Continue layering until the glass is full, ending with a final layer of mango puree on top.
Drizzle more chamoy over the top layer of mango puree and sprinkle with additional Tajín.
Garnish with extra mango chunks or slices if desired. Insert a tamarind candy straw for an authentic touch.
